The Scout Bee is made of Full Grain 7oz Horween Dublin and completely hand stitched with waxed polyester thread, and all of the stress points are reinforced with solid copper rivets. 

It's 13" at its widest point at the bottom which slightly tapers up to 12.5" at the opening. The main pocket is 4" wide. Scout Bee stands 10" tall. This bag features rolled top edges, a heavy duty bridle leather strap, an exterior slip pocket, an interior slip pocket, a business card sleeve, two internal pen sleeves, and two internal pockets with button stud closures. The storm flap features brass quick release closures for a secure fit that’s easy to operate. Heavy duty brass swivels connect the shoulder strap to a rough-out support strap that runs the entire underside of the bag for maximum support and abrasion resistance.

This bag is completely handmade in a small workshop in San Diego, CA. Every stitch is meticulously placed by hand, and no machines are ever used.  This type of old-world craftsmanship is becoming an increasingly rare thing in the current world of fast fashion and mass produced factory goods.  Each ZeeBee Leather piece is made by one person from start to finish: a craftsman who is utterly quality obsessed.  The level of finishing and attention to detail on a ZeeBee Leather piece is what separates a bag made in a factory from one made by a single craftsman.  Every edge is burnished to achieve an authentically smooth finish and an attractive appearance, instead of using edge paints which are prone to cracking and peeling.
