Leather Master Square™
Leather Master Square™
We noticed that there aren’t rulers and squares specifically designed for leather-craft and we wanted to change that. It was our aim to create something very special and unique to what we do in our leather workshops. Too often we’ve seen generic squares and rulers that functioned adequately for leather, and we wanted to specifically design tools that would become indispensable workhorses in your shop. It took an entire year to create a series of tools that’s both familiar, and specifically tailored to how we interact with leather, and we’re so delighted to make them available for purchase.
The Mascon & ZeeBee Leather Master Series is a special series of tools designed from the ground up. Let’s get into the features of the Leather Master Square™:
Imperial and metric scales on the front of the square.
Each arm of the square is 10” long which makes the tool a very practical size that fits right into the Goldilocks zone.
One arm is 1.5” wide and the other arm is 1.25” wide
1/8” thick
Both arms feature a strap hole template which can be easily lined up on either 1.5” or 1.25” straps for quick and effortless buckle hole alignment.
The 1.5” arm features a strap cutting gauge for a quick reference and adjustment of a standard style strap cutter. Just line the blade of your strap cutter up to the slot of your desired strap width.
Each arm has a center notch to quickly find the center of a strap.
Rounded corners to make them safer around leather.
The back of the square has imperial measurements on the inside track of the square.
Leather thickness conversion chart for reference.
Stiches Per Inch (SPI) chart for reference
